• Non-Prism Ranging Function

  

  Non-Prism Ranging is about 200m. It enables to use in place where is difficult to place Prism directly such as heavy traffic or difficult to go in. For example, it is available to operate without going to the measuring point when measuring height of building or buildings close to your standing point.

• With a Prism, Measuring a Long Distance is also Available

  

  It is also available of ranging by Prism or Reflective Sheet. Available measuring range is about 800m with Reflective Sheet. (With STS Reflective Sheet RF-53, available measuring range is about 600m.) With Mini Prism, it is about 1,800m. With Single Prism, about 4,000m at maximum will be available.（When in Long Distance Range Mode)

• Selective Lineup

  

  There are four models for TSS-200 series. It depends on the measurement angle accuracy, 3" or 5", and tribrach type. And the minimum indication is selective between 1"/5"/10" for all models.

• Large Scale Memory

  

  It can save about 50,000 data in internal memory. Also it can input or output data with PC using RS232C cable.

• LCDs with Back Light at Both Sides

  

  Big LCDs at both sides. It can also change allotment of function key so that it can recall the key you use frequently with one press.

• Rechargeable Battery x 2 pcs. (Standard Accessories)

  

  Rechargeable battery is used for power supply. 2 sets are included as standard accessories. It is OK in case of dead battery.

• Pinpoint Ranging with Small Diameter and Visible Laser Beam

  

  Due to pulse laser, pinpoint distance measuring is possible. Laser Point is about φ15mm at 80m away(in Non-Prism mode and strong light). Thus it does not diffuse laser beam over the fence, on the corner of walls and a manhole where the incidence angle is very shallow so that precise measurement is available. ※Image is for illustration purposes.

• Reliable Compensation Mechanism

  

  The automatic compensation mechanism detects the tilt of the main unit and compensates the altitude angle. Furthermore, the collimation mechanism compensates errors in the telescope sighting axis, ensuring highly accurate measurements at all times. (The figure is an image diagram for easy-to-understand explanation.)

• Laser Point Emission Function

  

  Continuous emission of visible laser point is available. For collimation in short distance at indoor work, it is very useful to decide rough collimating direction.

• A Variety of Programs are Loaded

  

  Equipped with a variety of programs including 3D coordinate measurement, pile driving measurement, offset measurement, opposite side measurement, REM measurement, back intersection, area calculation, double angle calculation, and width pile.

• 3D Coordinate Measurement

  

  You can set the machine point coordinates, machine height, sight height (prism height), and direction angle that have been input in advance, and then calculate the coordinate values of the new point based on these settings.

• Opposite Side Measurement

  

  The oblique distance, horizontal distance, and height difference between two points from a sighting point (starting point) to another sighting point (target point) can be determined without moving the machine.
