Reliable Compensation Mechanism
The automatic compensation mechanism detects the tilt of the main unit and compensates vertical angle. Furthermore, the collimation mechanism compensates errors in the telescope sighting axis, ensuring highly accurate measurements at all times. Example for Making 90°
Place the theodolite on the reference point, look through the telescope, and align the telescope's crosshairs with point A. (Left figure) Set the theodolite to "0 set". Next, rotate the top of the theodolite so that the horizontal angle of the liquid crystal is 90°. (Right figure) At this time, the center of the crosshair within the field of view of the telescope is 90° to point A with the reference point as the center. (Point B) Driving a stake at point B completes making 90°.

In addition to switchable horizontal angle measurement between clockwise and counterclockwise with a single touch, 0 set, fixed, and double angle measurements are also possible. Also the vertical angle can be selected from 0° at the zenith, 0° horizontally, and ±90°, and slope % can be displayed.
